Any idea on Asus P67 Sabertooth/Maximus prices?

I'm considering being an early adopter and jumping right on the SB bandwagon but the 2 boards I'm interested in I haven't really seen any prices. Any ideas what the Maximus IV and Sabertooth are going to go for? I especially like the sabertooth with its panels to cover the mb itself, but I have a feeling its going to be a mid range board like the x58 was. I'm also very interested in the Maximus IV. The P8's and Gigabyte board's dont even seem like an option to me personally. My Haf X is all red and black themed (overused I know, but it looks best to me) and blue components and especially gigabyte's hideous blue pcb's don't appeal to me at all.

You do realise that Gigabyte's new board is not blue? Its black and gold from what I remember.

However I would like to know the expected price of the Maximus IV

The UD7 is solid black w/ some gold lettering yes. I realized this post-posting this topic. Which honestly is extremely.... boring looking lol. Though it does mean that board is back in the runnings as a potential SB mobo for me. I am however a big fan of Asus so I'll still be waiting to see prices and comparisons of the Maximus and Sabertooth to Gigabyte's boards before I decide.

From that review they say £300 which googled = $464.73

But that doesn't seem right now does it...

I personally would hold off buying a P67 Sabertooth until longer-term reviews are out. That motherboard cover-panel SCREAMS "Dust Bunny Collector!" to me...and you'll just end up wanting to take it off I'd think.

wow. tat review makes the ROG seem extremely disappointing. Only managed 4.6ghz, and fared about the same or worse than (from what I've seen so far) a chip that is slower than the i7-2600k, especially an overclocked one. That kind of performance is just unacceptable for the money they are asking.

I think I just scratched the ROG off my list.

i don´t know what the reviewer did, but i think he use a very old bios...

the MIVE is a good solid board and with latest bios is high OC no problem.

In germany is the price ~308€ for the MIVE and ~170€ for the Sabertooth.
