ATI 5450 For HTPC

Thread Starter
Hi,

I'm wondering if an ATI 5450 card could be good enough for an HTPC.

Second thing, as far as the TV it's going on. I'm building the HTPC for a friend. But I don't know if her TV has an HDMI Slot.

The TV is an LG about 2 years old, was about $1000, and is supossedly able to play HD.

Does the mere fact that it is an HD TV tell me it has an HDMI slot?

Thanks

It should have an HDMI slot, seeing as my HDTV from '06 has one.
And as for the 5450, it really depends what she is using it for.

It should be fine, the 5450 will be able to handle 1080p content easily.
