Modified Corsair H50 - Page 2

I highly doubt the fridge will be able to keep up with the heat production of the processor when under load. Seems like a good idea but as discussed many times a Fridge won't cool a pc properly. Also when running such low temps you should insulate your mb from condensation.

I was about to ask how you were fighting condensation on your mobo. Still, nice job though! Hmmm, my fiancee's mini-fridge sits right next to my desk...

Yes, I drilled holes in the fridge. I highly doubt the radiator will rust(aluminum) only time will tell. Not seeing any condensation so far, also I have a 120mm blowing against the mobo and those temps were only to see how low I could get it. Using Prime for 6 hours temps only got to 44c/cpu and 30c/cores. My temps now 24c/cpu and 12c cores at idle. The fridge can keep up with temps, you just need a large stainless steel pot, locating the rad towards the bottom, center to produce convection. The warmer water will rise in the center, and the cooler water will drop along the sides towards the radiator

I wish I could overclock some more but I'm having difficulty getting past 3.8ghz. Not sure on the correct settings. Everything I try doesn't seem to work.

I've had It running 4 days now, very quiet, the fridge is also silent. Let me remind you that this is my first build ever. I don't suggest you chance doing what I did until I get some miles on this thing first. This entire build cost less than $500
