A golden chip will mean nothing as Sandy Bridge nears release. I say at most $200 + shipping. You can get an i7 950 for near the same price in some areas, and they clock as well (though with a tweak more for the voltage).

well yeah. they take more voltages to clock as high, which in turns, leads to more heat being generated which is a problem.
