Should I just ignore this artifact?

Ok, I have two overclocked 460s (in my sig rig)

I can run Furmark (stability test) as long as I want, and I won't see a single artifact. Other games, no artifacts. However in Crysis when I was running the benchmark on the second loop (and third, but not the first one) I see a tiny colored artifact or two when it begins (part where you "swoop" down from above). Since it only happens on the 2nd/3rd loop and not the first, I'm guessing its when the temps rise, however Crysis only pushes my GPU to about 62 (never seen it go above this). And Furmark can run up to around 75-80 if I leave it on long enough and I don't have artifacts in that (plus it stresses the card more). So do I ignore this tiny artifact that I only see during a certain part of the benchmark scene or just go back to stock since it may not be 110% stable.

(BTW, I ran it on stock clocks and I didn't see them. Stock clocks being the stock factory O.C. EVGA 460 SC clocks)

Thanks for you help

It all depends on what you feel comfortable with.

If that is the only time you ever see it, i would leave it.

but if you start seeing it other places, i would go back to stock.

If it's one tiny artifact, I wouldn't worry about it. If it keeps on appearing or there's enough of them to force a BSOD, then I would say go back to stock.

question.... does fur mark actually utilise more then one card???

because off hand... i don't think it did....

which would be why you ain't getting and artefacts in it

There is a Multi GPU version of FurMark, which actually comes with the regular download. Theres the standard version, then that.

Well, my O.C. was a fail anyways. Only a 2-3 fps increase max. So I put it back to stock. I feel better knowing there is no more artifacts. Even if it is tiny and barely noticeable.
