Umm, you've got an intel motherboard with an AMD processor...

You either need to change to an AM3 motherboard, or an 1156 processor.

955 an 965 essentially same cpu so get 955 an increase multiplier by x0.5

So would the motherboard dumb321 suggested .. meet the requirements ?

Yes, it should. And also, your RAM is out of stock. I recommend 2x2 GB of RAM, as 8 GB is not necessary. Here's a good set.

Do you really need 2 TB of hard drive space? If you really don't, I wouldn't get that hard drive either, due to its relatively low RPM, which means slow loading times. I would much rather get this.

Finally, I highly recommend a different case. I don't really trust Sunbeam all that much. Try this one instead.

Everything else looks fine.

oh yes and another thing ... what would you recommend me running the pc with ? windows 7 or XP ? cuz i read in a thread that XP does not support more than 4 GB ram or something

Windows 7 definitely. Don't think you can buy XP anymore. Even if you can get windows 7.

I was like you and got 8GB RAM when I built one... Just go 4GB and save yourself some $. I never use more than 2GB and I encode HD Video, game, etc.
