Thoughts on the 40D - Page 2

Congrats on the purchase. I sold my 20D to get a 40D. I still need to save up more cash for a mint condition one. >_>

19,000 isn't that much. I definitely think you got a great deal. Congrats!

I'm using a 35-350mm L lens on it right now. I was having trouble getting pictures that were not blurry last night. I'll try again today after classes.

The 40d is still a great camera. I still have mine and use it for sports with my kids. AF works great and the 6.5 FPS is fast. I love how responsive the camera is.

You cant lose much on it either. It those of us who bought new that lost the most.

That is why I bought my 5d used and may upgrade to a MK2 when it gets replaced.

Nice work on nabbing a 40D. I used to have one and it was and still is an exceptional body. The LCD was the only thing I didn't like about it, but I was never a big chimper anyway.

And the 35-350? There's an oldie; where did you get it?

Well, I'll sell you mine when that happens, because I'll probably be first in line for the MkIII.

I miss my 40D. I sold it when I lost my job almost 2 years ago and I never bought another DSLR. Maybe some day...

Excellent buy...I just bought mine last month for a similar deal and I love it. I am so happy with it and I do not think I will upgrade for quite sometime...
