SSD And games?

Thread Starter
Now i know a SSD dont give you extra frames and so, But games that can be moddable and have a massive open world, For example fallout 3, NV Oblivion and Sacred 2, If there using a 1337 Uber high texture pack, Would this make the land load faster if they were on a SSD?

Yes SSDs can help in loading textures, maps etc faster. Sometimes the difference isn't always drastic so do your research first.

SSDs won't increase your FPS but I saw somewhere that SSDs can cut back on studdering in the game. Like if you're walking in a game and you might have to wait a second for the data to keep loading off the drive. You won't see this in benchmarks but it might help in some games. I'm not sure if I made this clear enough but I'm pretty sure it was Anand Lal Shimpi bringing up this point.
