its nothing against CM really. I just think with the cable management options and the black interior (i have painted 2 out of my last 3 case interiors black) the 800D just stands out. Just from the view looking inside the case it looks like everything else (including my lian li, which i still love)

hot swap drives are a bonus as well...

how about something like this for a 240 in the bottom??

and mod the side panel to exhaust air out the side (fans pushing through the rad and out the side)

Doing that would really provide some awesome airflow in your case. If you feel confident doing a modification on that level I'd highly suggest that you do so.

i did the same kind of mod to the top of my current case so i think i can manage that on the side of the 800D.
Just have to figure out a way to support the rad since it wont actually be attached to the side panel (way to much work to unscrew 8 screws to take off the side panel)

hopefully i get a pm back from this guy on how he did this mod but from the looks of it, it might be above what im able to do in my garage

edit: still need to find some black low profile head 6-32's for the grill....

Low profile 6-32 screws + black spray paint = FTW

While it would wear off if you repeatedly unscrewed the screw, if you just put it gently and left it it would look fine.

Anyone with this case know if there is enough room to add 2 120mm fan grills below the window

I'm thinking about putting a 240 rad on edge where the lower hd cage is and having fans pulling air into the case, through the rad and out the other side by adding a 240 rad grill at the bottom of both side panels

I have seen it done on the right side but not on the window side (maybe cause there isn't enough room)

Or I could add 2 80mm fans pulling air from below the case and having 2 120 mm fans pulling through the rad and out the right side panel.

I really need to see this thing in person with all these crazy ideas I have

I know microcenter was giving free windowed side panels with tbe 700 a while back. Maybe they will give me a free 700 side panel if I buy the 800 so I can cut it up
