MOLEX Broke for Fan! Please Help Me!

RAIDMAX SMILODON ATX-612WBP Mid Tower Case
I replaced Original PSU with the “OCZ GameXStream OCZ700GXSSLI 700 Wattsâ€

The Molex connection for 120mm blue rear case fan somehow the pins[studs?] pushed through. So now when connected
to a 12 volt rail it doesn't turn the fan since on 2 or those 4 pins are making contact.

Which of the following would be the best repair/replacement.

1. Buy a new 120 mm rear cas fan that uses a 4 pin molex power connection

2. Repair the MOLEX connector?[I don't know how..maybe someone does???]

OR WHAT?

Could you post a picture of it? It's kind of difficult to visualize.

Pull those two pins out of the molex plug and part way down on the pin you will see like a "wing/barb/flap" kinda thing. Use something to pull the "wing/barb/flap" out a bit so that the pins sit in place wqhen they are pushed back into the plug. Then push them back into the molex plug and you should be good to go.

Solder? Solder the fan to the PSU/ just remove the connectors altogether.

I'm going to try that.

2nd thought, Is there any benefit in getting a fan that is a lot more RPM's ?
I think mine is 1000-1100 rpm...Would something around 3000-5000 rpm benefit as far as lowering my temps?

Thanks!
