Thanks! I used Krylon Brand Spray Paint mostly. But I also used Rustoleum Primer. I first sanded down all of the acrylic surfaces and then primed them with their closest top-coat match (grey, white or black). The aluminum-looking panels are layered with grey primer, and then several thin coats of the "Chrome" Krylon paint. I then finished it off with an invisible clear-coat (The UV-protecting kind). This was needed because the painted surface was a fingerprint magnet. I used High-Gloss Black on the other plastics, and coated the interior with black and white primer.

So the G4 is semi passively cooled? I actually pulled that off with a hyper 212+ on and AMD X3 and that worked out pretty well. So how does it perform for for you and what programs do you use?

Mainly this system is used for editing HD video in Final Cut Pro. It's also used for other media projects (transcribing audio, photo editing in Adobe, dreamweaver for web development). I torture tested with Prime95 over a 24 hour period the temps stayed below 80º C, and I've seen i7 systems that run stable closer to 90º C without an overclock. I even brought down the vcore to 1.1125 and found it stable with a BCLK of 140 (stock is 133). This system is also whisper quiet when idle.
