overclocking problem?

Thread Starter
I'm not really sure what I was doing but it worked. I have the intel dp55kg motherboard along with an i5-750. Using the intel desktop control center, it overclocked my cpu to 3.5ghz. Then i start to play around with the mhz and got it to about 3.8ish. It worked fine for a month, but today my computer crashed while I was running the windows experience index.
I don't know what went wrong but i think it had to do with the overclocking? The computer shut off by itself and starts to reboot and when it gets to windows start up screen it would restart again. After the restart the computer would just keep beeping until I shut it off or restart again. Then it repeats itself. I went back to the bios and changed everything back to default setting and it still wouldn't work. Then I went to search around forms and some people said to unplug the power supply and replug it. After doing that I got my computer to work again. But after an hour of using it, the computer crashed and restarted again. So far, it is working now but I don't know if it would restart again. Do anyone know what is the problem?
My computer specs are:
cpu i5-750
motherboard intel dp55kg
ram A-data 4x2Gb @1333
psu corsair ax 750
heatsink cooler master v8

Try clearing the cmos. If you get it to boot up, reset everything in the bios. If it won't boot up, try reseating the gpu. What gpu do you have by the way?
