First Time Build: Memory Timing Help - Page 2

One at a time, because certain ICs may achieve different results with timings (i.e. PSC ICs, which your RAM probably has, don't like lower tRCD).

I'm making sure my mild overclock is stable first then I'm going to work on getting those timings down.

Here's my latest results:

Well, I got a stable overclock down now for a few weeks, I did 4.02ghz but I didn't like the temps I was getting; +48C @ load. So I lowered the voltage and got a pretty good 3.8ghz with a 2.6ghz NB. when I get a fan controller and replace/add fans I'll try again, until then here's where I'm at...

I haven't touched ram timings yet, still need to do a little bit more reading before touching that stuff.

EDIT: Update

Ok so after about 2 hours or so of reading and playing with timings, I realized I don't have any control over my memory voltages; if I do its not obvious what it is called in my bios.

Its stable so far. I am going to run prime95 tonight to make sure but I'm pretty happy, I definitely noticed boot times to be better and overall windows7 to be more responsive.
Thanks for the Help!

Latest revision....
