That's a good price. You usually expect to pay more than $1200 for a good gaming laptop. Isn't the 1366 x 768 resolution a little low though? The GTX 285m shouldn't have a problem with that.

Yep 1366x768 is a breeze for a 285, it should be able to max out any game at that resolution. The good thing is that it should be able to play new games for at least another 2 years.

yeah i could see how expecting the display on a gaming laptop to be of a reasonable quality would be asking too much.

Saw this a few days ago, but it has bad reviews, so figured I wouldn't.

One bad review said bad resolution... LOL. Read the specs. Other said noisy.

Guide to reading reviews:

5 star - Don't read, they didn't take the time to review it.
4 star - READ THIS, they took the time to find something wrong with it without praising the ground it walks on.
3 star - READ THIS, much like the 4 stars, it may have valid points to watch out for.
2 star - Skeptical, they may have good points, but they may have also been biased or PEBKAC.
1 star - DON'T READ. They're whining about a DOA product or PEBKAC.
