Looking for a Testbench

Thread Starter
I was looking to buy a test bench for some overclocking, and to hold all my components while I'm painting a case of mine. I would prefer for the bench to have space for at least 3 HDDs, and fit a standard ATX mobo. Also, if the case is around or under $150, that would be great.

Right now, I'm considering the Danger Den Torture Rack. Does anyone have experience with this case, or know of a better/cheaper testbench?

Thanks in advance.

If you just want a temporary, sturdy bench, there are these benches on

.

I have the DD Torture Rack and love it. I need to get a new back panel as the one I got (used) broke. If you're going into air cooling, I would recommend something cheaper.

I have this test bench, I think it's the cleanest test bench ever created.

I saw a review for a test bench by fellow OCNer staryoshi that look promising and fairly well priced: http://www.overclock.net/computer-ca...iew-build.html. <That's the link to his review.

Any particular reason why you would? I also found this in the For Sale section, what do you think?

Nice, Lian Li quality is top-notch! I've owned a couple of their cases myself!
Not enough space for HDDs, though

It looks like a good test bench, but I'm not too eager to buy from a relatively unknown company. I will check it out, though!

I found this, does anyone have any experience with it?

I've also been wondering, would I be better off using a mobo tray, such as this? It's a lot cheaper, and that means I could also grab a pair of Audio Technica ATH-AD700s that I've been looking at for quite a while
