Also if im not mistaken the fan can be replaced on the V8, so don't worry about it you can always get a more powerful one later.
By the time a AMD cpu reaches 75c your cpu will have fried by then and you will be on here asking questions why amd chips fry at 75c when compared to intel. Please do not throw our facts to mislead our members. If you are unsure then the google button is only a few clicks away.

What do you think of the cooler? I'm thinking about one. The only thing that puts me off is the fan. How does it do?
Stay away from the V8.

It is an overpriced unflexible cooler.

You have basicly have a decent cooler, with the option to only have one fan.

Plus you can get a cooler that is just as good for much less.
like this.
plus you get the option of running push/pull.

My Phenom II 940 overclocked at 3.72Ghz with 1.488v idles at 38C-40C but on load never passes 47C during the summer it hits 52C it used to have high load temps but my Artic Silver 5 finally cured. The color I'm using is a Venomous-X with 2 GentleTyphoons.

Thread Starter
Hmm...I was just gaming and happened to take a peek at my temps, my cpu was running at 65. That's probably not good, seeing as how after some googling it turns out that the max temp of my cpu is about 62. I'm pretty sure that it was my gpu heating my cpu up though as that was around 80.

I think its time to upgrade my fans.
