Adding a 60 GB OCZ Vertex II to my Envy 17

I just ordered a 60GB OCZ Vertex II for my new Envy 17 and was wondering if I need to purchase a hard drive caddy in order to use it with my laptop. I just saw this

and I don't understand the point of getting a caddy. The ssd is already 2.5 inches, do I need an adapter in order to use the ssd with my envy 17 ?

Im not sure about your specific laptop but all the laptops ive used are plug&play

edit: sorry I just got watched the vid. its for if you want to add an additional harddrive to your existing one. The plug&play I mentioned usually is just for replacing an old harddrive. You would probably need something like this if you wanted to keep your old HD,

Yea, this is the same exact laptop I have. It comes with a 750GB HD and I want to use the 60 GB Vertex II as my boot drive and the 750 GB HD for storage.

Yea should work fine, Just format both drives and do a clean install on the SSD. Personally I would do my install with only the SSD hooked up, that way you can't accidently select the HDD to install the OS to, then add your HDD later, but it is up to you.
