Another recommend a noob some headphones

updated: consider this thread "closed" and look at this one: http://www.overclock.net/sound-cards...l#post11886747

Despite music tastes, I want something that just sounds good - good quality, but not aiming to anything specific.
I want noiseblocking, that's really something I want. The more, the better...

As for price, I just wouldn't go over 150 bucks before shipping.. And I must buy it on eBay only

I currently got my eyes on this: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...ht_2982wt_1139

So what do you think?
Could I get anything better for the buck?
Any other models I should know about?

I love my Audio Technica M50 headphones. Same price, but no no; 53 canceling. Though, when They're being 85304% can't hear what anyone says, and they can't hear your music.

These things have EPIC bass, and are around $100-$150 shipped.

So they have better isolation than these HD280 pro?

I would recommend buying a Turtle beach headphone. The sound is just phenomenal and you get surround sound in the headphone! You can buy it on ebay for good prices.

I have a pair of ATH-AD700 as well as ATH-M50's.
I would recommend the M50's to you since AD700 have no noise blocking abilities.
You can get them for no more than $120

Too bad you just missed the Sennheiser HD595 going for $115
It almost made me buy them just to try them out.

edit:
Also if you were to get the HD280 I would recommend you move up to the HD555. same price

the HD280 Pro isolate very well for a headphone however it sounds inferior to other headphones for the same price. How do you intend to sue the headphones?

Confortably on my head, blocking exterior noise, listening to things

I'd suggest the sennheiser hd 380pro wich are much bettere than the 280. Here in europe they are often on offer and are not that much more expensive than the 280...... check them if you can.

why would you recommend me the H555s? they are open air, doesn't that make them bad noise isolators?
