What are these for?

As the title states. What are these things? I've seen them on a few rigs, but I don't quite understand what they are used for.

Looks to be just a nice and tidy way of sorting out some wires.

Maybe lights / fans whatever.

That pic looks to me like they are bringing a fan cable in on the top right row for example and then using the connectors to tidily make it split off to two cables / fans on the left.

Very tidy and nice, i like it.

looks like a wiring harness for fans red +12 or +5 and black ground.

@OP, those are terminal strips; they are used to join multiple wires together. A lot of people use them for handling power to lighting/fans by serving as a clean way of connecting a lot of powered elements to a single molex connector.

I knew that they were terminal strips. But didn't know what reason they were used for. Interesting neither the less. That could clean up a lot of unnecessary wiring.
