I have the r.a.t 7
and i can say wow. i love razer mostly because of the quality builds but my r.a.t 7 is just as well built if not better drivers/software for the mouse worked without any probs it a great mouse fully customizable and would think the 9 is the same except its wireless prob on pair with the razer mamba. I also have one of those but i love the r.a.t more. just my thoughts

The rat 9 has a slightly higher dpi which really isn't needed. In less there really is a reason you need to be far from your rig with your mouse I would suggest a 7 for no worries about input lag and batteries.

Does the 9 have a wired capability like the Mamba?

Is there a issue that when you click, the cursor moves?
I remember hearing a lot about that when the R.A.T. 7/9 came out.
not when you click, but if you lift too slowly it goes down and to the right a tiny amount.

I thought the only difference between the 9 and 7 is wireless (9) wired (7)

Edit: thought so. Both @ 5600dpi, same configurability, only wireless for the 9.

I own the 7, it's the most comfortable mouse I've ever used.

Not according to the product catalog sitting in front of me smile.gif all so says it has 45 grams of wight instead of 30g.

Edit nvm about Dpi that was the rat 5. product catalog is poorly laid out.
