k don't touch them but why? con's and pro's?

these are PSUs which tend to break down for almost no reason and take other parts with them. They just aren't proven stable all the time. There are a couple here and there that are good, but beyond that stick with seasonic. Also, you really don't need 750 W... http://extreme.outervision.com/psucalculatorlite.jsp this link will help you out a lot.

As for your previous question, your CPU overclocked will bottleneck your benchmarks mostly but in game it won't be too bad. I do say overclock it, and the above psu calculator will show you the wattage used when overclocked as well...I do like your setup btw, I think I'm doing something similar soon, but with an 8800gt.

have fun!

Coolermaster has put out some decent PSU's over the years, actually ...

The higher-wattage units in the Real Power Pro series a couple years back were fine, and the Enhance-built 850W unit was fully awesome. The Ultimate series was plenty good, and the current Silent Pro series aren't bad, esp. the Gold editions.

Really it's just low power units (like the eXtreme series, which is anything but), and the GX series (which are a sorely outdated Seventeam design) that kinda suck.

OCZ, otoh ... I agree they're not great ... but they tend to be a decent value at least. And their (I think it was) Impervio-built EliteXStream was actually a fabulous PSU ... but they're long extinct unfortunately.

Is that what bottleneck is then?
Does it lower your CPU usage, because mine I think is bottlenecking too.. Because sometimes the GPU usage is at 99.. then it drops and goes all over the place.

CPU OC needed?

With or without Vsync?

Usually if your GPU usage is all over the place your CPU is not delivering enough information to it for it to work at ~99%. This is indeed the GPU being bottlenecked by the CPU. However, if you are using Vsync then the system is only required to work hard enough to garner 60FPS. Some parts of the game may take 99% to reach 60FPS some parts may take 40%.

I have a Corsair TX850w running a i7-920 / 8 threads @ 4Ghz and two GTX470's SLI with medium overclocks. Been folding 24/7 for months so I think it's safe.
