Nothing wrong with paying for software.

I pay for NOD32 because I like the UI and how it's quiet. Avira drove me bonkers with all the "buy me!" popups and I didn't like the UI of Avast.

i dunno about you, but i'd like to think i'm a smart consumer who shops around and doesn't pay retail price normally.

I buy my Norton keys when they are the Free After Rebate or even make $$ deals from Frys

the 3 user bundles that include Norton IS, Ghost, and Systemworks.

i only use IS and Ghost, but for 3 systems i pay $80 upfront, and get either all $80.00 back on rebates, or the case in the last 2 years i've made $20.00 as they've had competitor coupon rebates as well that made it $100 back in Rebates.

I used to do the same with Kaspersky IS from 2005-2009.
