scalling on a 5650 mobillity

Thread Starter
i have a acer laptop with an i5(460m) and a dedicated 1gb 5650 which is great i clocked it a bit higher and runs source(my game) like a dream. But seeing as i am a competitive player i need my external 2ms monitor...so i hooked it up and i try to set my resolution on the Monitor so that it scales the in game image like i could do on my old nvidia cards. But it ends up taking everything and stretching it...making it unplayable....(it is a 22" 1080p monitor, so it is 16:9 and i play at a 16:10 res and want the black bars so it is the same as my old pc's).

I have ccc 10.2 and there is no option to scale the monitor in control center. Any help is appreciated
thanks -John
