That is your prerogative Sir, but I implore you that we are talking worse case scenario. Worse thing that can happen is that some hacker is able to remotely switch off your Sandy Bridge cpu with the killswitch. I don't think it's that bad.

And also the DRM thing, don't even get started. You have no idea what you're talking about so lets just close this whole thread before you start filling people's heads with misinformation.

Why don't you wear a tin foil hat and hide in the corner if you're so scared of these "features" that will have no impact on you.
ouch....

I agree with you 100%!

but weren't you a little soft on him? But then again, being nice and tactful is what gets you the Rep.

I almost replied to all this BS with killswitch and DRM again, but I saw you hanlded it with the kid-gloves I sorely lack.

I'm not stingy giving out rep. +1, thanks for saving me posting time.

How would this scenario get created in the first place? How could this really happen? Who would want to do something like this and why?

It's this kind of stuff that gives us hackers a bad name for no reason.

2 words: NEVER HAPPEN

I couldn't resist...lol

I can only hope the readers of this letter are as outraged as I am at Sandy Bridge. Permit me this forum to rant. It is no news that if we are powerless to do something good for others, it is because we have allowed Sandy Bridge to heat the cauldron of terror until it boils over into our daily lives.

I once told some of Sandy Bridge's torchbearers that they should reach out for things with permanence, things beyond wealth and comfort and pleasure, things that have real meaning. Not surprisingly, their response suggested the enthusiasm of a man feeding on a diet of sand. That's why you and I need to celebrate knowledge and truth for the sake of knowledge and truth. Only then will people see that according to her, pharisaism can quell the hatred and disorder in our society. She might as well be reading tea leaves or tossing chicken bones on the floor for divination about what's true and what isn't. Maybe then Sandy Bridge would realize that instead of taking the easy path in life, the downward path, we must choose the upward path regardless of the pain, suffering, and sacrifice that this choice entails. Only then can we finally condemn Sandy Bridge's criminal ineptitude. Yes, Sandy Bridge will try to stop us by encouraging young people to break all the rules, cut themselves loose from their roots, and adopt a libidinous, morally repugnant lifestyle, but she is known for walking into crowded rooms and telling everyone there that she's the best thing to come along since the invention of sliced bread. Try, if you can, to concoct a statement better calculated to show how sick Sandy Bridge is. You can't do it. Not only that, but information about her self-indulgent screeds is there for those who seek it. (Note the heroic restraint stopping me from saying that Sandy Bridge's zealots seem to allege that she can do no wrong.)

If Sandy Bridge gets her way, none of us will be able to unmask her true face and intentions in regard to commercialism. Therefore, we must not let Sandy Bridge bring about a wonderland of antiheroism. While perhaps offensive to some readers, only a direct quote can fully convey the heartless, unimaginative nature and content of her anecdotes: "Attention, lapdogs! Your orders are to boss others around, and to do so at any cost." The end.

Maybe if people stopped stealing things DRM wouldn't be needed on anything.
