Woops, name was wrong. Insider is the service and the circuitry is something else. So they are purely talking about streaming content (Bluray or DVD) and not the physical media.

That wasn't clear to me in the initial article, as they made a distinction from their streaming service and DVD content.

I love how people complain.... But they're going to upgrade regardless.
I love how it doesn't affected any of us, but those not upgrading are making it into something it isn't.

Do you trust that hollywood won't implement this DRM code in it's DVD / Blu-Ray. movies? I don't know, I think I'll wait just in case. I'd rather just have no DRM at all.

22 nm Ivy Bridge

Ivy Bridge is the codename given to the 22 nm die shrink of the Sandy Bridge architecture.

Ivy Bridge processors will employ a maximum of 24 EUs graphics sub-system (double that of Sandy Bridge)[39] and also provides DirectX 11 support, rather than the older DirectX 10.1 graphics technology that will be featured in the first batch of Sandy Bridge processors, while retaining its LGA 1155 socket compatibility.

Well even if this DRM is a small step and won't effect most end users(who really knows until these processors come out)...buying into it will only lead to more hardware with drm features in the future.
