I just made mine for the luls since using guns is easy

The knife in BO is pretty overpowered though since with the right perks you can run forever, get unlimited ballistic knives and do something else (I haven't played in like a month, forget all the perks).

Just takes time and practice! Find a gun you like and your good with, get used it to... In no time you will be kicking ass. It does not matter if you use a Noobtube or the UMP, if the gun suits you and you enjoy using it then why not?

Killstreaks: Until you get better at the game i suggest you have UAV on, i have this on all the time as it is one of the most useful killstreaks on the game... the other two should be Pred & Harrier's.

Good Luck

While I recommend you just play another game, MW2 is mostly about getting your killstreaks up. Sure, most good players can get a legit nuke without the use of any other kill streaks, but how many people do you see do that?

Ultimately, the main idea is be smart with your shots. If you see three people in an area its not a great idea to go balls out and start shooting your gun hoping for a triple kill. Use your head when in situations and don't be too aggressive. You will never outgun every single person in the game and a Rambo mindset will just get you killed even if you can outgun everyone if you ever hit a 2v1 situation.

Headphones are also helpful. If you plan on staying in one area and letting everyone come to you, you will have the upper hand on everyone if you know they are coming before they can even see you. Also, when people say camp... that doesnt mean crouch in a corner. Choose an area and constantly move around it.

Like I said though... a better game is a better choice.

Man, bunch of damn troll posts up in here.

Anyways... it just grows on you man. What I've noticed was when I started playing BC2, I lacked the intelligence of where the enemy will always go building wise, and where they will appear and or more on the map. This will help a lot.

You then will learn, where the enemy's will be looking too kill you, then you must adjust yourself accordingly to kill them without them knowing you going to that spot they are expecting you to go.

If your stay in 1 spot for more than 3 kills, your a high value target and they will go there first. So move away from that spot, and have a 3 spot rotation that you will sit at and it will confuse the enemy.

Oh, and make sure you don't join a laggy server, or you don't have any lag yourself

My friend is the luckiest player in MW2, he ALWAYS lands on servers with
i) Good rego.
ii) Good ping.
iii) Everyone there is good, they don't use noob weapons and all have an IQ of above 100.

It's rediculous. He says it's a great game, I say he's blind.

Anyway, to OP. Find a weapon that works for you, aim down your sights before going around corners. Don't run and gun ALL the time.

Oh, and use the Uzi

Learn the maps, its key. Even if you can't outshoot your enemy, knowing common camping spots and routes will let you get the drop on them.

Or run around with Marathon, Lightweight, Commando + tac knife
