About $35 cheaper for the 2500K and 2600K procs and $45 cheaper for non K versions over MSRP. If the motherboards are around $150 for a UD3P-equivalent in OCing combined with the current deals on DDR3 and these processor prices, then I think we have a winner on our hands here!

$180 for a 2500K is the same price for a used Q9550 here on OCN..... WOW! I might be upgrading from my E8500 C0 to a i7 2500K!! Got to wait for a LGA1155 bracket for my waterblock first!

it won't. 2500k and 2600k are not here to replace the 950.

I'll believe the prices when I see them. MC is a business that tries to make money; it's not a charity.

Yeah I'm a debbie downer. And I'm Swedish.

Micro center has amazing prices for CPUs if you pick them up in store. They use it as a trick to get you in the door. Since Microcenter is like a candyland for computer nerds its almost impossible to leave without buying other stuff. I went there to only buy my 950 for $220 and left with 2 new 120mm fans to try, a fan controller, and a new keyboard for my girlfriend... Damn them!

God I love that place but man I can't help but leaving that place with something I had no intention of buying.

Just noticed the cache difference between the 2500K and 2600K. Not cool.

I don't care about HT, but surprised to see less cache.
