7950 GX2 sli avg PPD?

Hello guys,

I have been a member for quite some time, but i haven't been posting that much on here, probably because i'm just too lazy to translate my dutch sentences in english or whatever plus there is almost an answer for any question about overclocking and stuff.

Anyway, i have a 7950 GX2 laying around here and i was asking myself.. Will it be worth it to build a GPU farm with 2 or 3 of those cards? Since they're fairly cheap these days..what's a wild guess on ppd for those cards?
I work at a computer repair business, so it won't be that hard to find some parts for it laying around being useless..

So, guys any ideas? I'd be happy to hear/read about it!

Greets,

Senokone

Must be a GPU with shader processors. Still an awesome card to have, though.

I really hope that's right, I used an english to dutch translator.

Original:
I would give it a go. If you can afford it why not? It would probably generate some heat, but might be worth it in the end.

What are you planning to do? Fold? If so, then this is a definite yes. Nevermind

EDIT: Ok so these don't support GPU2 then.

Really.. ? Oh man, that sucks.. Looks like i have to get a 8xxx series then.. Maybe 8800gt/x/s/ or something? I'm not really sure about the pricing though.. Oh well, i just got a ati HD 6970 to the shop today, i can't wait to test the GPU client on it.

Afraid not; as said before, an 8 series GPU is the minimum required to Fold.
