Either match your foam, your walls, or your speakers. My vote goes to black.

What color is the rest of the room. If this is a major home theater area, go with the Eclipse Blackout curtains. I work nights and sleep during the day and that is what I use. It has a thicker liner and then the outside has a variety of colors available. But if you still want some light to come in, go with a "room darkening" curtain. Very big difference. Depending on how you hang the curtains a blackout curtain is just that. Pitch black just like in the middle of the night.

Given that the rest of the room is rather light, I would say a chocolate brown or a burgundy red. you need a warm color in that room to wash out a little of the white. Black would be clean, but having the speaker enclosures in a wood finish would take away from the aesthetic of the room. Clearly your focal point is the monitor/TV so you want to keep it as such. doing a black curtain behind a black TV would wash out the TV and set your focal point as the brown speaker cabinets.

I say go with the chocolate brown for contrast.

Is it just me, or is the window off center from the TV? If the TV is centered on that wall I think the curtain off to the left looks a bit awkward. I would just hang a wider curtain that would cover the window but also cover the same amount of area to the right of the TV to even things out. It just seems to me that you have obviously taken some pains to get your equipment symetrical and positioned correctly, it would be a shame to have a off center window and curtain throw that off.

Also, I would personally go with a full length red curtain. Would really pop behind the TV and contrast well with your other colors.

Really loving your setup BTW. What kind of speakers are those?
