This is my first build and is running very good
-Asus M4A890GTD PRO
-890gx chipset
-dual gpu support
-sata 6gbps
-AMD Phenom ii X4 955 BE
-Cooler Master Hyper 212+
-ATI Radeon HD 5770
-Cooler Master Sickle Flow Fans
-Thermaltake V3 Black Edition Mid Tower
-Cooler Master Power Plus 550W PSU
-640GB WD Caviar Black Sata 6gbps
-500GB Segate Barracuda Sata 3gbps
-TSSCORP lightscribe IDE drive
-G.SKILL Ripjaws with blue heat spreaders

Gets around 75 FPS on blackops MAX (16x aa)

Its not running good unless its at 4 ghz. lol jp.

Do you still have a chance to return any of those items? You can ditch the cd drive in favor of a sata one, or even ditch it all together. Any reason behind the 2nd slower hardrive (seagate)

this reaches 4ghz no problem but i intend to keep this build for a long time so I only oc it to 4ghz when i am benchmarking and the 2nd harddrive is for downloads

needs more GPU.

460 768MB are on sale for $100 right now, but its still a good build, I give you that.

If you got the extra money, you should buy a sound card

Looks good, a few recommendations:
-ASUS M4A79XTD EVO, has all you need for nearly 50% less price
-You can get a better video card in that budget
-Corsair A50 performs the same as and costs lower than Hyper 212+ - or Corsair A70 performs better for the same price (it actually comes with push pull!)

Nice find. 83.99 after MIR. The board says it takes AM3 socket, can you drop a x6 with that board? Sorry for hijack.

It is an Am3 socket. You can use an x6 with this board; it will boot out of the box, but you will have to update the BIOS immediately to access all the features (easy with ASUS boards & EZFlash).

Im going to get another 5770 and run crossfire if i have the money however if I happen to have excessive amounts of money to burn ill get 2 dual gpu 5970 cards and try and run crossfire with that
