Ok so I keep recieving this error on one of my clients... I have totally removed the client and started from scratch. I am starting to think it is the WU server I am connecting to (130.237.232.141). Anyone else seeing this?

core status is most likely the WU is corrupted.
delete the core file, queue.dat and the work folder.

that'll force it to download a new unit, hopefully one that works for you.

I did that yesterday. I started from scratch with F@H. Reconfigured my client & all that. Even today its still doing the same thing...

Since none of us have that crazy monster you set up I would post it in the F@H forums, if you post your log in [code] tags here I can do it for you.

I found this thread - http://foldingforum.org/viewtopic.php?f=19&t=14071
They replied saying you will get a new unit but will most likely be the same, if it is the same run/gen/clone of the 6900 it is probably a bad one which needs to be reported.

Yesterday it appeared to be a few different WU's. But as of now I am only seeing this one. Also I am seeing no work... Maybe thats what is happening. Maybe they are at the end of the available 6900's and we (or maybe only I) are all getting these bad ones that are still flotating around around out there being passed back n forth.

0xC0000000000000005's are usually to do with bad memory, but that wouldn't explain why you're alternating between that and an 0x29 error

Im not sure either, but here is another one. Also since this is an HP server, I can connect via iLO management and it does not report any bad dimms in the unit.

Can you see how much memory the core is trying to use from where you are?

This thread seems to suggest that if the core tries to access > 4Gb memory, it will crash itself. Your monster rig is quite likely to be able to harvest 4Gb per core quite quickly I'd imagine

http://foldingforum.org/viewtopic.ph...15563&start=75

It also seems to suggest that they removed the WU's that would cause it to happen, so again it's a bit odd that you're having the problem

it never really goes above 1.7GB of ram when its actually trying to work one of these WU's.
