GTA IV seems to hate me.

Thread Starter
I can play for about, 1 hour, then this happens:

If I minimise the game to the system tray, and maximise it again, the textures gradually re-appear. Until the next time, which isn't far away

Only recently it's started doing this

Any ideas?

Thanks

Tom

Just did a bit of googling with the only keywords I could think of "texture problem"

Apparently, could be a problem with system memory. I have 2 GB of DDR2 RAM, running Windows 7 Ultimate x86

Any thoughts?

also if you only have 2gb memory, why 4 gb in the sig?

RivaTuner caused problems like this, but I thought it was mainly on nVidia cards. Are you running an older version of RivaTuner by chance? Have you patched the game?

EDIT: Found this. You should probably lower your settings.
