How can i fix ram speed

Thread Starter 
The RAM is supposed to be running at 1600mhz,CPU-z tells me it is running at 543.6mhz and bios tells me 1066mhz.I am using asus p6x58d-e motherboard.How can i make it run at 1600mhz?

its running at 1630.8 right now. CPU-z shows it running at ddr speed not ddr3.. just times that by 3 and u got ur speed.

i have only changed dram frequency at bios from auto to 1600hz and seems to work

No those timings are good.Did you get it to 1600?That would be 800 under the cpuz memory tab.
