Hybrid Oc'ing

Thread Starter
I just thought of something which will make oc'ing (At least the first 60% of it) faster for me. But I need some advice first to double check

What if you use the software that came with your mobo to use the "Auto" overclock, write down the highest oc it can do, then put it all into your bios and put the nasty vcore back down to something reasonable? (also tweak it a bit and change timings etc)

Just a thought. I would like your views on it =]

Should work just fine. I don't see why not, just make sure the voltages are good before you try to boot with them.
