NZXT Phantom LED Swap - Page 4

The rest of my parts come in this week. If you're still interested Rowey, what I'll do is break down the case again and take some pics and point out a few things. Its a fairly straight forward process. Remove and replace.

You should make it a build mod/work log... I'm sure it would be useful for more than one person.

3mm led's, i wouldn't suggest it if your not familiar with a soldering iron and your basic electronics.

Great work Silo, the case looks sick. I wanted to ask how you removed the glue from the power and reset button LEDs.
I want to change my lights purple.
Thanks.

I just used a small pair of needle nose and gripped as much of the glue making sure I didnt grab any plastic and pulled it off. Wasnt worried about the leds because they were getting replaced. Just made sure to not damage the plastic channels that channel the light. Then I just hot glued them back in when I was done.

Thanks. Also, what did you use to desolder the LEDs for the fan controller? My cousin has a desoldering braid if that would work.

Silo, I'm just wondering what voltage LEDs you used for the Fan Control and Power LEDs, as I want to swap mine out for green.

Your mod looks ace!
