I like the way you think Wire.

No no and NO to SSD.
The price to performance raito of SSD is no where NEAR worth it. Getting an extra 8GB's of RAM for 1/3 of the price, and make use of Windows 7 SuperFetch makes way more sense. Set a limit on SuperFetch to 8GB's, and leave the rest for gaming or for what ever it is they'll be using the system for. Total = 12GB of RAM.

the gap between 8GB's of SuperFetch Vs. an SSD drive is not that big, and will cost you 1/3 of the price.

For around the same price of a very small 120GB SSD ($250) you can get 24GB's of RAM, and change. Set SuperFetch to 20GB's, and walla! You have one bad ass mother****er. With another $60 pick yourself up a Samsung 1TB F3. Done and done.

SSD? Pfft...

Very small SSD 120Gb?? They come in smaller sizes too. I have all my information on my 120Gb, with my games, and only use half of it. And 250 bucks is yesterdays price, today they are cheaper, and tomorrow they will be less. They are dropping in price faster than any other component.

BUT, if the buyer doesnt know about it, they probably couldnt tell. Because thats the way a new computer should respond(fast). Unless they had a side my side comparison.
