My MSi N460GTX twin frozr II

I was truly shooting for a 1GB card but my local computer guy ordered the wrong one... it was on the other hand about 45 buck cheaper then the ASUS 460 gtx 1GB on newegg.

Either way....

Card details
GPU GF104 Revision A1
Tech 40nm BIOS 70.04.0B.00.00

Stock (numbers taken from after burner)
Core Volt .975
Core Clock 751
Shader 1502
Mem Clock 1800

I have a stable OC at 55C with 65% fan speed
Core volt 1.025
Core Clock 900
Shader 1800
Mem Clock 2000

Tested with Kombuster for 20 min.

Curious if I should try to get more of this thing, volts seem pretty low, temps are great. I dont know what these things can handle, would hate to burn it up hahaha!

A quick question too... Runing GPU-Z under the graphics card tab, it shows memory to be half what after burner and kombuster shows.. what do you make of that?

Your memory question: The card uses Samsung chips that run @ 1000MHz. So if you have it set at say 1975, its only 975 operating MHz.

Did you read those voltages off the read off points with a multimeter?

^ I'm guessing he's reading that from software

alright thanks for the MHz answer.... I'm reading volts off the afterburner program and GPUz.

It for a long successful kombuster test it seems it might not be as stable as I thought, getting a little screen flicker when running FSX. Gotta try it on some other games and see what I end up with.

If you get the flicker, your memory may want some more volts.

If you +10 it in Afterburner, mine read out at 1.600v on my multi-meter

hummm.... I'll look into that. All I have been playing with is afterburner and the only voltage setting is core volts... time to do some reading. smile.gif

Thanks for the heads up
