Also please don't expect prices to immediately drop even if they drop. Retailers aren't dumb, supply and demand has to take effect. It's not, hey this stuff performs better so lets liquidate the other stuff.
This is kind what i wanted to hear ::smirk:: may as well buy it now then aint?

its a troll so why bother?

if this aint a troll then you need t just go buy a dell or something, because 1/2 the stuff your getting hosed on, 2600k is better in every way possible over a 950 (same price and its faster, with less temps, oc's alot higher) and my grandma plays solitare and facebooks (scary) on here like 1999 compaq workstation with 733mhz pentium 10gb hdd, 256mb ram, 32mb nvidia gpu im sure this thing will have no problems.

hi that was a joke, again im sorry i thaught funny was good. by hosed do you know better deals? this is off newegg mostly. im gonna have to look around for the 6950

I was also looking at an i7 950 setup and I'm also short on patience. I think waiting for sb is the thing to do. I have decided to wait for the i5 2500k but it really depends on what you will use the system for. I do zero encoding, just gaming and movies so that sb cpu will be perfect for me.

Be patient, be patient.

with the i5 2500k you will save some money you could put towards another 6950 in the future and play solitaire in its true glory. lol.

I was never really interested in sound cards because I use some crappy 2.1 speakers and live in an apartment, so I'm not blasting it. Your choice though.

Wait for sb and I think you'll be more satisfied in the months to come.
