Sad but true, I am glad I will NEVER get a DRM locked CPU. I am happy with my Enthusiast 1366 chipset, over that mainstream 1155 garbage.
Ignore^ and have fun with your build. Oh and I would get the F3 Samsung 1TB Hard Drive instead of the WD Black. And to answer your question about the ram, get the Gskill over the OCZ.

Thanks Guys! I've read until my eyes burn about the DRM and it seems like it won't effect me at all and might not even be true so I'm not worried.

On the HDD's, why would you recommend the F3 over the WD Black? Those were actually my two choices but upon reading about them, most reviews seemed to like the Black better even though it appears that the F3 is faster.

Are the Ripjaws my best option? I'm just trying to make everything match to a certain extent. lol I will have Gigabyte 6850's (which are blue), the case has blue led's, and who knows what else. If there is better 2000 Mhz RAM, I'm all ears. Thanks!

So, here's another question that I have.

For Gaming, Homework, Movies, Music, etc. is the 2600K worth the extra $100 over the 2500K?

As I said, I love saving money so if I'm not going to be sacrificing any performance, I'll definitely consider it.

Depends on the type of homework. If you're doing rendering and stuff, the i7-2600K will be faster. Even compiling in Visual Studio appears to be faster on the i7-2600K.

so all this drm stuff is just that streaming stuff it doesnt affect torrents or anything like that obviously its just the streaming content and maybe in the future anything that implements the drm into its video or dvd

Gotta love 'criminals' who feel justified to steal

Notice only the 1366 fan boys crying about DRM, using yet another excuse to try and denounce Sandy Bridge because a mainstream platform is out-performing their "enthusiast" parts. I don't know if you guys realized this but technology advances, so get over it.

If you don't pirate/redistribute digital content then it doesn't effect you.

Its no different from any other hardware-level DRM were you can't view/use certain content unless you have an HDCP-compliant device such as an HDMI connection.

the DRM doesn't apply to you, it's for their streaming service.

that's a really nice build, but isn't your PSU a bit much?

I'd go for this one instead:

Check out how much it is AR.

You can also get a better 1 TB drive for $69, the Samsung F3
