Overclocking AMD Athlon II X4 630! - Page 2

Slightly a bit off topic here guys but umm what determines having good frame rate ina game? Other than having a good GPU...Im asking because I recently purchased a Radeon 5850 and Im getting sub par FPS in most games is it due to my relatively old cpu"spec in sig" or would RAM have a negative effect on it ?

I was a noob and didnt know that dual channel was needed..so I only purchased one stick I also didnt know that my cpu only supported 1066 and the stick I purchased was 1600.. lol dont laugh
