Asus P67 Lineup

Isn't it a bit strange Asus hasn't made a single board with full 16x/16x CFX/SLI support?

Atleast that's what I have seen.

None of the P67 are going to support 16x/16x iirc. The cpu still only has bandwidth for 16 lanes total for PCI-e just like P55.

What about Gigabyte's P67A-UD7? doesn't it support full 16x?

Also, how come it has 24 power phases compared to like Asus P8P67 Pro/Deluxe's 12/16? is it going to be a big difference?

Yes but it uses the NF200 chip which adds latency. IIRC there is no real world performance difference between 16x and 8x at the moment.

It shouldn't make any difference.

In case of Gigabyte, only half will work at a time i.e 12 at a time in case of UD7. Other 12 will work on next reboot and the first 12 will be disabled and the cycle goes on.

So it's basically the same as P8P67 Pro's 12 power phases?

By the way, which board should I get if it's even known yet?

- P8P67 Pro.
- P8P67 Deluxe.
- P67A-UD4.
- P67A-UD5.
