new plan for upgrade...?

Thread Starter
Just upgrading a little. At the moment I have a amd 5400+ CPU, m2n-e-sli mobo, 4gb of kingston, 500gb hd, 500watt power supply. Just wondering what u guys think and if all these parts will be compatible and what not. Suggestions are okay to. Not sure if my power supply will be enough....

I was thinking this for my upgrade.

GFX
Friend is giving me his old gtx260 core 216.

Yes, that's all compatible. 500W is plenty for it.

CM Hyper 212+ for good, cheap cooling.

For much better (and more expensive) air cooling, you can get an NH-D14 or a Silver Arrow, etc.

Depends on the power supply. A SeaSonic 500W? Yeah, more than plenty. An Apex 500W? No, I don't think so.

It's thermaltake purepower 500. And yes I will be planning on overclocking shortly after I install everything.
