I have two 360 rads, I can mount one on the bottom but I don't know where to mount the 2nd. I have a black ice gt stealth 360 and a gtx xtreme 360. Any suggestions?

I was planning on putting the stealth inside on the bottom since it's very thin and then mounting the gtx xtreme on the back but I'm concerned because that is where the psu fan is located. I don't want to mess up the air flow and cause it to get to hot.

I would *highly* unrecommend using a Raven case for WCing. I originally bought mine for the air-cooling and then got the WC bug...My own experience:

-The only way a radiator of any real size goes in the bottom with ANY GPU 9" (My 6850) or longer is if the bottom 180*s come completely out.

-The only way to use the hose pass-throughs (in the back/bottom) with 90* barb-barb fittings in the back is to put the case up on stilts. They didn't make the case feet tall enough for hose to be run under and outside of it with barbs. The case only sits 3/4" off the ground in the back-and there was no way for 3/4" OD hose stretched over barbs to fit under the case and have it NOT putting pressure on the barbs.

-If you insist, the way I mounted my rad, was dremel moto-tooling a cutout in the back beneath the PSU for hoses to pass-through, and slinging the radiator on the back with a radbox....currently I'm hick rigged with some rope hanging the rad off the handle...I'm going to switch to some steel rope a little later. The air delta is low on my loop so there's no problem with my PSU intaking the rad exhaust.

If I had the money and could do it over. I'd get a Mountain Mods. The Raven looks neat, but it is a PITA to WC.

Pics available if you want.

I bought the Raven02 hoping that there was a chance to change things around to watercool it and this is the best i could do

and then I found the 800D!

2010-08-29140348.jpg

I wouldn't put any rads under or on the back, I tried this and it put a massive amount of pressure on the tubing and there was no flow at all.

I have more pics if you want, I still have my Raven02 just sat in my room doing nothing! its good at air cooling! I had several Delta and Nidecs in mine at one point, but its no good for watercooling, unless you remove the three180mm stands that the fans sit on, gives you an inch or so extra to work with!

Attached is a pic of what I've done. There isn't any load/pressure on the hoses as pictured

Yeah rv02 isn't very well suited to wc. I have a mcr320 at the bottom of mine, and I could probably go a little thicker since I removed the bottom fans. But in the end it just wasn't designed for wc.

thanks for the info, I was really hoping this case would be better suited to water cooling. I'm still not sure why I got it, I ordered it on an impulse but now that I see it up close I really enjoythe look of it. I have 2 360 rad stands so I guess ill have to mount them outside but I was really hoping to have it somewhat portable so moving it to another room isn't a huge task but I can't see any way of mounting them. I won't ever sacrifice my cooling loop for a case, with two 5970s crossfired air is just not an option. If I do come up with a solution ill be sure to post it, but unless I start drilling and cutting I don't see how it's possible and I'm not willing to start chopping it apart... yet.

The Raven is a very cool case, but it's not the major watercooler in the Silverstone range. You want to move to a TJ07 or TJ11 really. I'm moving to an RV02, but I only run a 2x120 rad, on a CPU only loop, which is entirely possible to have internally on the Raven. If I upgrade my loop from there, I'll have to swap out the case.

Edit: If you bought yourself a small table to put the Raven on, and converted it into an external radbox, fit some quick disconnects into the pass through holes on the base, that would work, surely?

Case is only 3/4" off the ground back there. Not enough room under the case short of putting the feet up stilts.
