Comes out to ~ 260k points per day I believe if I did the math right.

I just flashed mine to unlock shaders, so I will update with more info soon.

UPDATE: BIOS flash dropped my time per unit by another minute, so im down to 14m50s per unit. This is in the vicinity of 300k PPD. again only if my math is right.
my 5850 gives me about 285k per day avg
my 5870 gives me about 330k per day avg

Looks like there isnt an optimized app for the 6900 series yet, so its just doing 5x00 series work.

Crank it up to 950 core and it should hit 300K ppd according to the GPU database

In mw@h, I'm pretty sure the 68xx/69xx get the GEN2 workunits that are optimised for the newer GPUs - not sure if dnetc has newer optimised workunits though.

6800 series is essentially the same as 5800 series, which is not the case with the 6900 series. They changed their "stream processor" architecture.

If you wanted to get technical, the 68xx series is actually closer to the 57xx series - but I understand what you are saying

My comment, was that there are different workunit's for >68xx series then the <58xx series and being different I'd think they were optimized for >68xx specifically?

I did make a mistake though, they are not mw@h workunit's, they are DNETC workunit's

From the DNETC homepage:

News

New ATI/AMD application
New application for ATI/AMD Radeon HD 2xxx/3xxx/5xxx/68xx Cards is now available (Windows only). This version finally support new 68xx series with full power (about 3 times faster than the previous version).

UPDATE:
Because of problems with new application we back to old one until we fix problems with new one.

UPDATE2:
Fixed. Now server will send new application to host only with AMD Radeon 68xx cards (plan class amd68xx).
If the new workunit runs about 3x faster on 68xx series, then it has to be optimized in some way

Optimized for the 6800 series yes, not for the 6900's yet though. Sad day :-(

I havent been running my 6950 24/7 because of power consumption, also I will need to sign up for milkyway :-)
