Same. I was planning on upgrading to the 68x0 before I found out how little extra it does over the 58x0. I'll keep my 4850 until the next gen.

I wouldn't rant at AMD at their pace (although they're a bit fast here), but I've noticed the early 6-series GPUs were slower than some of the 5-series, even though the 6-series cards were more expensive.

So are we going to get sub-par performance/cost just to have the lucky 7-series GPU sticker on it?

I doubt its going to be early Q2, either late Q2 or Q3, AMD is going to milk all they can from the 6000 just like they did with the 5000 series lol

I know this is just a rumor, but how likely is this to be true? 3-6 months wouldn't be that long to wait, and would drive prices down hopefully.
