Thumbs up...

Btw I confirmed that slots 2/4/6 nets 8x/8x/8x for pcie width. You're gonna want a watercooled rig to run 580s that close. I've got my cards in 2/4/6 for CFX 6950 and a GTS250 physx.

I have the same problem deciding, because I see different things, sometimes 980X is unbeatable, then synthetics show they are both about the same, and it confuses me when sum1 says 2600K will be same or better for games, because gaming is all I need it for, and it's the games I've seen the 980X dominate on. I kind of don't care about the money just performance, and I will never be upgrading again!

If your only gaming, 2600k all day!! You have no need for a $1000 cpu and 6cores. It won't help. 2600k WINS. Bottom line.

Did some doctor tell you that your health would take a sudden turn for the worst or something, cause never upgrading again...
