OK this is getting realllly complicated. When I type in -smp on the console edition it works, but doesnt take advantage of CPU. When I do it on folding@home shortcut, it shuts down

You're not getting an SMP WU yet...

Now:

• Close the client.
• Delete the 'work' folder and queue.dat file.
Make sure the -smp flag is added correctly.
• Restart the client.
