Broken MOBO temp sensor?

Thread Starter
Asus m4a78-e

The MOBO temp is 76c in BIOS & Asus PC Probe II
Even on cold boot is stays at 76c.

The CPU temp is 40c average load and 33c idle in Asus PC Probe II.

Even when I pump up my fan speeds and see the CPU temp go down, the MOBO temp stays at 76c.
The case is dust free - cleaned regularly with compressed air.

Broken Sensor?
