[UK] Q8200 | 2x2GB DDR2-800 | MSI P31 Neo

My CPU, motherboard and RAM from my sig rig:

Core 2 Quad Q8200, M1 stepping, never OC'd
http://valid.canardpc.com/show_oc.php?id=1576551

2x 2GB DDR2 800MHz sticks, CL6 (can't find exact timings) 1.8v @ stock, currently running at 800MHz 5-5-5-15 1.9v completely stable.

I've run them with lower timings but it hasn't proven 100% stable

They're made by Crucial and don't have any heatsinks on them, just the bare green PCB and black IC's. They're double sided with 8 chips on each side and still have the original stickers on them.

They do use Micron D9HNQ IC's which I've heard are good overclockers, I reckon you could hit 1066 on these pretty easily.

MSI P31 Neo motherboard, original v1.0.

No original packaging or accessories for any of it, would probably throw in some cables and my AC Freezer 7 Pro cooler though

UK prices only please.

Thanks

Memory: 50-60 quid, depending on brand and looks.
Not sure about the rest... I'm not an intel user.

Thanks for the reply, *facepalm* for not including the memory details.

It's Crucial RAM, no heatsinks, just bare green-PCB-ness. I think with heatsinks on they might overclock quite well, but this obviously isn't guaranteed.

Cheers.

Two pretty different replies on the memory

Yeah. I think allikat was presuming they were "high" quality with heatsinks.

Isn't the quality down to the actual chips though?

DDR2 has shot up in price, good DDR2 2gb sticks are about 50 quid a piece, lesser ones are cheaper, of course. Crucial made = good, no heatspreaders and boring green stick look = less good, I'll drop my assesment to about 40 quid

Alright, cheers. I was thinking of buying some Cooler Master copper heatsinks for these but decided there wasn't much point as I wouldn't be able to overclock, and not sure if I'll be able to under-time (c wat i did thar) much more with higher volts.

Might get them anyway, see how far I can lower the timings and they look pretty awesome as well
