Help Athlon ii 635 overclocking

Hi Everyone.
Have been playing with overclock for a few months and it is driving me nuts because I am not getting any better results.
Not sure why I can't get past 250mhz on the fsb, if i go over I am just not stable anymore.

I can get 3.625 ghz, 250x14.5 with 1.556v on the vcore and everything else is on auto voltage. system crashes on load if vcore is any lower.

ram is set to 1333, manual set CL 9-9-9-25. command rate at 2t
nb is at 2500
ht at 2000.
Turned cool n quiet and spread spectrum off.

Can someone please explain, whether or not my nb is holding me back? or ram? or what is it because it seems like I have tried everything.
Raising and lowering of volts or am i lowering and raising the wrong ones?. and what does it mean by reference clock at 250 or something.

Heat isn't that problem because hardly go over 35C on load.
Thanks for any help. Please tell me if i left any information out

You will be hard pressed to push your core clocks over 250, but that doesn't mean its impossible. 3.625 is not too bad if you are stable.

But if you insist, I suggest kicking your NBvoltage up to 1.4 while bringing its freq down to 2400.00 which should read below 2000 in the Bios.

Also, Check your voltages for your ram, the Mushkin Silver lines are 1.65v Modules and I haven't seen an AMD motherboard yet that sets the Vram above 1.5v. Even if your setting turns red or yellow it will be fine because the Ram is rated for the higher voltage. I bet you could get 3.7 out of it.

I got 3.6 out of my 640 stable, but like you are experiencing it was at 1.53vcore. I came down to 3.51 and can run at 1.48 and I think I will stay here.

Thank you for response.
When you say NB voltage, do you mean cpu-nb or nb voltage because my mobo has both? that's why im confused.
And are you sure about 1.4v? because that would make the voltage setting like .275v toward the red.
Sorry if im being very direct, but i have been starting to get frustrated.
Also, one more thing, I can operate the computer at 3.625 at like 1.47v, but I can't run stress test or it will crash, but its funny because I can still play video games.

I think my main concern is that I am fine with my overclock speed, I just really don't like have to run at 1.556v to be fully stable. Don't want to rape cpu lifespan.
